Our Sponsors this week are
Little Blue Button Stamps 4 digis to a single winner
I have used the SB fabulous digital image "Scann 0003".

I decided to try out my 2 new types of watercolours today on an Art Journal page.  I used both Kuretake Gansai Tambi Water Colours and Bienfang Watercolor Brush Pens where the watercolour is already in a brush pen.  Both offered beautiful vivid colours.  I am still at the beginning stages of watercoloring so I have a lot to learn.  That being said I am happy with the end result which of course looks better in person :D  I have also used Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Pens on various areas in red, green, black and clear.

Sami's Stamps- $12 gift voucher to store

I have used the LBBS fabulous design "Halloween" – printable art tiles and bottle caps designs.

I have used a number on a scrapbook layout.

I worked with a base of black cardstock to which I stamped and embossed a crackled background.  I chose a piece of patterned paper that I ripped diagonally down the page and placed half on each side.  The photos were taken with a special roll of film that printed all the titles on top.  Some I cut off but used these in other areas.  I had the witch, moon and spider web die cuts from years ago so along with the LBBS printable the whole layout came together .  I journaled some thoughts and used a stencil for my title and stickers for the date.

My layout is of my baby Electra who was given to me in May for my 50th. Look forward to a few more layouts as I have some cute photos of her and her sister Khaleesi who my sister owns.

The whole papers etc came in a kit from a friend Carol who used to run classes and the such when I lived in the USA.  I am sure she will laugh that I have finished this layout some 10 years later LOL

So the challenge was for 321 -

Little Blue Button Stamps who give 4 digis to a single winner

I have used the LBBS fabulous digital image "You Got a Present".

I have created my card so it can be used as either a birthday or Christmas card.  My image has been coloured with Copic and Finecolour markers and cut out using my Scan N Cut machine.

Green card was then cut to cover my card base and for my image to mount onto.  The pink/silver layer was a new experiment for me.

I had been shown a foiling technique using Jac paper- a double sided adhesive sheet.  Having no Jac paper on hand I decided to experiment putting a piece of cardstock through my xyron machine.  Once the adhesive was applied and before removing the backing sheets I embossed the cardstock using my cuttlebug and an embossing folder.  Then removing the backing sheet to expose the adhesive I lay across a sheet of silver craft foil and rubbed with my hands.  The foil adhered to the embossed areas.  I then sprinkled pink glitter onto the areas that were not embossed to cover over the remaining adhesive.

The photo doesn't do justice to how pretty it looks.  There are a few little spots where the adhesive has lifted.  I'm not sure if this is because the xyron hasn't been used in a while or that the adhesive is not suited to this technique.  I will be trying the foiling again for another project in the future.

Once all the layers were combined I finished my project off with liquid pearls.

- I have used their fabulous digital image "Friends Forever"

I watercolored the background of my image with Brushos and created some extra grass using my fineliner pen.  I then cut it and the mat using my Scan N Cut. I doodled on the mat give it some interest.  I separately coloured another image using Copic Markers and fussy cut it adding it over the original image giving it some dimension.  The PP is from my stash.  The little bow was originally a pale pink plastic that I coloured with a Finecolour Marker I then added the little plastic flower.

Here is the sketch I used

Our theme for this week is "Recycled Scraps "

This weeks' sponsors :-

Sherri Baldy Designs 3 images to one winner
The Cutting CafĂ©  Any 3 sets from store to one winner

I have used The Cutting CafĂ©  file set "Tissue Box Cover"

This set contained files for a square and rectangle tissue boxes.

I first converted the SVG files to those that work with my Scan N Cut on Scan N Cut Canvas.  I then cut the files using paper scraps.

Now I'm not sure if Aussie tissue boxes are a different size or if it was the conversion but my measurements were out and the box is bigger than my tissues.  I also didn't have enough coverage where the tissues exit so I improvised and added the extra PP and black to the both ends of that opening (my tissues had an elliptical opening)

Welcome to Jo's Scrap Shack's
4th Birthday Blog Hop Day 2

The theme of the Blog Hop is Anything But A Card.
I have designed a Kaisercraft wooden word "CREATE" for my studio.

I started out with the beautiful papers from Amy Tangerine's 6x6" "Finders Keepers" Paper pad.
I chose a different paper for each letter.
I traced each letter and cut them out slightly smaller.

After glueing each letter on I edged the whole word with black marker to make it stand out a little more.

I added some flowers and foliage to the Letter C.  Aren't these so pretty?  They make me smile
Here is the finished project in my studio.  I love how it looks

Hello friends!
I am super excited to share today's post with you all. Today you will have the chance to meet the designers and get to know a little bit about them. Each week they bring you inspiration and hope to help motivate you to get crafty and I hope that you will give them a very warm welcome and stop by their blogs to see more of their amazing talent! The ladies that have a little asterisk next to their name are the new gals that just joined us this past week. Some of the designers wanted to keep their privacy so they chose logos in place of their photos.

So let's meet the designers, shall we?

Team "A"

"Am Amanda and I am a stay at home mom of 2 beautiful  daughters who keeps me on the go with school and dance. They are my life and wouldn't have it any other way, When not busy with them I enjoy crafting, and photography"

"I live in Sydney, Australia with my husband Tony. I have 2 daughters and 4 granddaughters.I am 70 years old and retired (Will be 71 in April).  I suffer from Fibromyalgia, bad arthritis and eye problems so spend my days making cards and talking to my cyber friends on the internet.   I started stamping and making cards in 1995, scrapbooking in 1999 and ATCs in 2005.I started my blog in 2012 with the help of a cyber friend so I could join her challenge and then joined more challenges and then a few design teams.I have made lots more cyber friends since starting my blog.My eldest daughter and I are both cancer survivors and thank God for every day.I am delighted to be on Jo’s design team and look forward to working with you all."

"My name is Michelle, I live in New Jersey and I have been Scrapbooking since 1996.  The most important part to me about scrapbooking is telling the story of my photos.  I have grown tremendously over the years and continue to learn and explore new techniques.  I try and incorporate as many techniques as I can as I plan my challenge projects.  Please comment and ask questions!"

Tina
"I started scrapbooking in 2007 when 2 coworkers/friends took me to my first crop, one of the girls said all I needed to bring was the pictures and anything special to go with them, she provided me with my first album and I had access to her supply of paper. I fell in love with the hobby that day and have been doing it since, that year for Christmas they gave me my first tote-bag kit that I still use when going to crops. I love to scrap in my Scrapcave (scraproom) it gives a chance to relax and enjoy the process of preserving memories. I scrap, make cards, smash and project life.I live in South Williamsport, PA. I am married to a wonderful man now 22 years between the 2 of us we have 8 kids, 17 Grandkids, 4 Greatgrandkids :) We are the owners to 1 fur-baby too, Buddy an Australian cattle dog (Blue Heelers) and has been part of our lives since 2005."

"My style is very much clean and simple with the added flower, ribbon here and there. I am loving the diversity and styles of the digi stamps out there right now, so relaxing and easy to get lost in the colouring with my Copics my new passion!"

Team "B"

"I began scrapbooking in 2002 when a friend invited me to a CM party...and the rest is history! I love scrapbooking, card making, papercrafting, and anything crafty! "Hi, my name is Heather and I live in Southern Rhode Island, USA. I'm a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom to my three wonderful little girls, one dog, and three cats and I've been married to my amazing husband for almost 17 years! I started stamping about 13 or 14 years ago when a friend of mine was a Stampin' Up! demo, but I really got serious about it 7 years ago after my twins were born. Since then I've been completely addicted!! I'm so excited to be joining this fabulous team."

I started Scrapbooking about 17 years ago and although I still do scrapbook I dabble more in card making and recently Art journalling. I do love trying out new techniques and getting my fingers inky when I can get time."

"Hey there, I'm Joann aka Jo. I live in along the beach coast in New Jersey, USA. For the past 8 years I have been disabled due to many health issues and this has allowed me much more time for my art and to homeschool my tween daughter. I have been doing crafts for the past 18 years, originally starting in scrapbooking. My love for crafts has evolved into my passion and my therapy. I am a mixed media artist, designer, Paper craft artist and blog journalist. I do answer to "Mom" :).  I have one son, one daughter and a very spoiled doggie, an 11 year old Shih Tzu male named Tiki.  In my spare time away from my art, I enjoy spending quality time with family, sitting on the beach listening to the ocean, watching a great show or reading a great novel."
