OK so here is our sketch this week

... and my creation

My image has been coloured with copic markers . My background papers are from my scraps of a layout I made over the weekend using TLC - Topline Creations papers. The sentiment comes with the digi image - there were actually 12 sentiments with many combinations.  I used a die to cut out the hearts.

I die cut the rectangular frame making sure to have her legs over the top so it looks like she is standing in front.  I was also able to slip in the horizontal strip behind her legs just giving a little more dimension.  The background of the frame was coloured in a watercolour effect using gelatos.

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #38 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack

This week we are challenged to follow a Sketch.  Our sponsors this week are Stamp Art Designs and Stampin Chef.

I used Stampin Chef's cute image "Bad Bra".  

I printed out my digital image and coloured using Copic markers.  I then cut fussy cut the bottom areas of the image that I didn't want the die to slice off.  The image and mat were then cut using QuicKutz Nesting Scallops dies and the edges inked. The background papers are old TLC ones which were cut to size and inked.  I freehand stitched using a pink copic marker but I didn't like the result so I ruled lines along the border and drew the stitches will a thin black pen.  My 'ribbon' is a piece of Washi tape from my stash.  This is my very first time using Washi.  I can see myself going back into my Washi tin and using some more.  I was very happy with the result.  My sentiment comes from 3 Twenty Crafts “Strike a Pose”

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #25 over at Jo's Scrap Shack

It was my turn as a DT member to choose the theme for this week which is "Things With Wings". 

I have always loved angels and when I saw this image I just knew I had to use it for this weeks challenge.  Isn't she just gorgeous?

My image is Meredith Dillman's "Broken Angel" by Sweet Pea Stamps.  She has been coloured with copic markers . I then mounted the image onto black CS.  I was so taken with the image I decided to go very simple on the card.

The PP is from my scrap pile.  I wrapped the PP with some purple chiffon ribbon and placed my image on top.  My sentiment "Forever" is a very old rub on from Topline Creations (TLC).  I was pleased that is still was useable after all these years.

I was inspired by the patchwork look of the sketch so I added smaller squares and introduced a third variation. 

My papers and the title come from old TLC stock which I  stamped the zigzag stitch upon around all the joins.

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #17 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack

Our theme this week is Autumn.  You can interpret this any way you like - Autumn colours, Autumn leaves, the season Autumn, You may even have a child called Autumn :D

Here in Australia (well where I live) we do have Autumn but generally don't have the grand colour changing foliage so this was the best I could do LOL  There is some Autumn colours in the leaves but mostly green.  The patterned papers are in Autumn colours and come from an old Topline Creations kit.

I think it is totally hilarious that the sign says - Fit walkers only - I am NOT and NOT recommended for children.  Well my nephew Noah and I had been dropped off at the top of the mountain and the only way was DOWN.  

We did have a great time.  I was thankful we were going down and not up.  I think Noah's favourite part was when I was down on my behind LOL.

I think this track will become my friend if I have any hope of joining my brother in Papua New Guinea next year for his 50th birthday celebration treking the Kokoda Trail.

This is my card.

My PP comes from an old 6x6 paper pack from TLC.
My image is a digital stamp from Whimsy Stamps called "Birdie Friend" this is coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noir. The image and red CS layer were cut using QuicKutz Nesting Scallops dies.
The card was outlined with a Copic and finished off with a piece of ribbon from my stash.
