Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #14 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack.  Our challenge this week is a Photo Inspiration.

What gorgeous colours and textures to choose from.

I have to apologise my card is a little rushed this week.  As you may know I am the carer of my Dad who has dementia.  He has been in hospital for the last couple of weeks so it has been a little crazy between work and going into the hospital to feed him at mealtime.

Our sponsor this week is StampArt Design by Kathryne designed exclusively for Whimsey Stamps.  I chose the beautiful Gracie digital stamp.

I took my inspiration from the blues and greens, the wood and the wings in the inspiration photo.

I printed Gracie onto X-Press It Blender Card and coloured her with Copic Markers. The image was then fussy cut using scissors and a blade.  My PP is from a pad I have had for years in my stash. Crafty Secrets - Heartwarming Vintage Collection - Earthy.  I lightly coloured some of the printed images with Copic Markers The whole panel was then mounted onto a folded piece of Cardstock.

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #13 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack

Our challenge this week is Anything Goes.
Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps they have a wonderful array of digital stamps.  The winner will receive 7 - yes SEVEN digital stamps.  

In my card this week I used Bugaboo digital stamp - Sassy Gal Birthday

I printed my digi onto X-Press It Blender Card.  I then coloured my gal with Copic markers.  I didn't realise until I started that my image (for my niece's birthday card) was a little more risqué than I had realised.  I remedied this by colouring the skin to match the skirt.  I cut out my image and coloured the edges with copic RV25.  I then mounted this onto a pink scrap of CS again edged with RV25.

My PP is from a Miss Elizabeths birthday pack that I purchased at a dollar store in the US when I lived there.  This was attached onto a folded piece of white Cardstock.  The yellow crinkle cut (corrugated) CS was another scrap. This was attached on a slant and my mounted image attached on top.  The whole card was then edged in copic RV25.
