This week I created a canvas as a gift for my beautiful niece Alexandra for her baptism. I even get to be Godmother!!! Very exciting.

I covered the canvas in tissue paper which I crinkled a little. I then sprayed it with various inks, sprinkled on some perfect pearls, dripped on some paint and stencilled some chevrons. I also stamped out the Phyllis Harris' stamp Your Wings Exist by Unity Stamp Company. It also just happens to be on sale 50% off 25th-29th April. I then scanned and increased the size of the image by 200%, printed it on cardstock and coloured it with copics.

I added a doily to the top left corner and used liquid pearls for the first time. I love the effect.

I added lace to the base which I had also coloured. The sentiment is stolen from the same stamp set and is from a white alpha that I coloured. I sealed it all and then rubbed some gold kindy glitz over the top to give it all a little sparkle. I am soooo pleased with this canvas.

I then created a card to go with the canvas and used a CTMH flourish stamp to mimic the wind. I plan to enter my card into Unity's Friends with Flair.

This weeks challenge with Joann @ Jo's Scrap Shack is to use an oversized title.

I just had to use these gorgeous photos of my little niece (and soon to be god-daughter) Alexandra Jade. Looking at the photos I thought she was so delicious I could eat her so "Miss Delicious" seemed the perfect title. I recently won this set of Delish Bikkies chipboard letters that were the perfect size. I initially covered the letters M & D with glass beads but I didn't like the look of them. So I painted over them and the other letters with acrylic paint. The colour was a mixture of cobalt and snow white. My pattered papers were from Stampin' Up.

One of my recent purchases was the Mini Rolled Roses Die from Die-namics so I cut and rolled roses from my scraps. I probably went a little overboard with Rose creating but I quite like how they were used in the end. I also used a large daisy I had in my stash.

Thanks for stopping by. See you soon.
