Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #73 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack

Our theme for this week is "Use a tool you've been Neglecting"

Our Sponsor this week is FitztownI have used their digital image "SNP9" from the Stardust and Pumpkin line.

My image has been coloured with copic markers. I didn't like the way my colouring appeared on the purple outer heart so I altered it using a mask with gelatos and dots using my white pen.  I used Stickles on the fairy wings.

The initial neglected tool I used didn't perform the way I had hoped it was a paper crimper of hearts and squiggles - so it found its way into the garbage.  My second choice was my regular crimper which I used on pink CS running over the raised areas with my gelato.

I then used a Sizzix Tim Holtz - Strip Die - Tattered Flower Garland to cut my flowers out from scraps.  I doodled around the edges of the flowers before combining them and securing with a pink brad.  I wrote the sentiment by hand.  The whole card front was then sprayed with silver glitter dust.

I hope you join in with us - Come on get creative.

I'm excited to see what you create!

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #72 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack

Our theme for this week is "It's Sketch Time"

Our Sponsor this week is Little Blue Button Stamps - I have used their fabulous digital image "Love Post Charlie".

OK so here is our sketch this week
... and my creation

My image has been coloured with copic markers . My background papers are from my scraps of a layout I made over the weekend using TLC - Topline Creations papers. The sentiment comes with the digi image - there were actually 12 sentiments with many combinations.  I used a die to cut out the hearts.

I die cut the rectangular frame making sure to have her legs over the top so it looks like she is standing in front.  I was also able to slip in the horizontal strip behind her legs just giving a little more dimension.  The background of the frame was coloured in a watercolour effect using gelatos.

I hope you join in with us - Come on get creative.

Our theme for this week is "Anything Goes"

Our Sponsor this week is Bugaboo Digi Stamps - I have used their fabulous digital image "Girl and Teddy Picture".

My image has been coloured with Copic and Spectrum Noir markers . My background was embossed onto black card,  I then coloured over with gelatos (Metallic Mint, Metallic Grape, Metallic Blueberry, Metallic Melon) then rubbed to blend with my finger.  The sentiment comes from 3 Twenty Crafts and the strip coloured with Spectrum Noir.

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #70 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack - our first challenge for 2015

Our theme for this week is "Its a New Year Bling it On"

We have a brand new sponsor this week  Little Blue Button Stamps.  They have an awesome array of digital stamps and links to where you can find some of them in rubber.

I have used the fabulous digital image "Watering plants Ivy".

My image has been coloured with Spectrum Noir markers.   I then used glitter from my stash on the hat band and petticoat, and Kindy Glitz (Crystalina) on the flower topping it off with a sequin.

I was lucky enough to receive Gelatos for Christmas so this was my first time playing with this medium to create my background.  I found a stencil/mask in my stash - I'm not sure of the brand - I think it was picked up at the local dollar store.   I just placed it down and scribbled some of the gelato over the top blending with my fingers and on some spots with a little water.  I loved the smooth creaminess of the gelato   I can see me using them again on some upcoming projects.

To finish it off I used white daisy "Just Blooms" from Close to My Heart.  These were coloured again with the gelatos. I just rubbed over the surface of the flower and wet it with a paintbrush to blend once dried I popped a sequin in the middle of each.

I hope you join in with us - Come on get creative - use that BLING.

This weeks winner will receive 4 digis
