Welcome to Jo's Scrap Shack's
4th Birthday Blog Hop Day 2

The theme of the Blog Hop is Anything But A Card.
I have designed a Kaisercraft wooden word "CREATE" for my studio.

I started out with the beautiful papers from Amy Tangerine's 6x6" "Finders Keepers" Paper pad.
I chose a different paper for each letter.
I traced each letter and cut them out slightly smaller.

After glueing each letter on I edged the whole word with black marker to make it stand out a little more.

I added some flowers and foliage to the Letter C.  Aren't these so pretty?  They make me smile
Here is the finished project in my studio.  I love how it looks

Here is the line up for both days of the hop.

My image has been paper pieced with PP from American Crafts . My background was created using Faber Castell Gelatos; stamps from Kaisercraft and Fiscars; texture paste and stencils. The sentiment I had in my stash from an Australian scrapbooking magazine.  I coloured over the sentiment with some glitter pens and blended with my fingers so it was toned closer to the background.

My image has been coloured with Copic and Finecolour markers surrounded by blended "Non-Smear Pastels" by The Stencil Collection. My image has been coloured with copic markers . My next layer is a scrap from a past project that had been stamped and color sprayed previously.  These two layers were die cut using the Becky Higgins Project life dies.  The light pink layer was dry embossed. and then the dark pink layer was just a marker border around my cardstock base.  The banner/strip across the card consists of a PP scrap and a border strip from Kaisercraft's Botanical Odyssey 6 1/2" Paper pad.

Hello my crafty friends!!
Welcome to day 4 of the 3 Twenty Crafts 2nd Release Blog Hop!

This week has been so much fun and I have had a blast sharing each new stamp set and all my projects with you. So thank you for stopping by each day this week and joining the fun!

You should have arrived here from Joyce but if you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, simply go to Jo's Scrap Shack.
Today we are showing you the new and awesome stamp set
“Personalize It”
This stamp set coordinates with Project Life and Smash Books.  So many different options and many stamps in there to play with.
My creation today is very simple.  I have had this beautiful piece of 'It Takes Two' (QLS54) patterned paper for years.  I have never wanted to cover it up so it has stayed in my stash.  I thought today's project would be perfect to take it out and use in in my scrapbook. To highlight my goals for the year.
The Alpha Chipboard is #3 from Kaisercraft.  I painted the chipboard and a piece of white card with acrylic paints from my stash.  The paints are nothing special - Palmer 'Sunlight',  Semco 'Mango' and  Colour Traditions 'True Red'. I just used a paintbrush and elegantly blobbed it on and then blended them together.  Most of the true orange colour is the red mixing in with the yellow as the mango was much closer to the yellow than orange once it was applied.  I do love to get messy.  Once dried I just stamped onto the painted card  and voila.  Everything was just then glued down.

Well that is todays projects and I am glad you stopped by today. Your next stop on the hop is Kristin so have a great time as my Design Team sisters have really created up some gorgeous projects that will surely inspire you!!
To win today’s stamp set “Personalize it”, make sure you stop at each blog along the hop, become a follower and leave a comment. The winner will be chosen randomly and nobody knows which designer’s blog the winner will be chosen from… so don't miss out on your chances, make sure you complete the hop and leave some comment love!
I hope you have had an awesome time this week and maybe you could be a lucky winner of one of these amazing new stamp sets! Good luck and stop by Jo's Scrap Shack. on Sunday for another sneak peak & mini hop of an extra stamp set to this new release! Thanks for hopping! Now for the shopping All the stamps showcased this week are now available over at 3 Twenty Crafts.

My next challenge with Joann @ Jo's Scrap Shack was to create a Valentine Tag.

My tag was made from some leftover background paper from last week, that I created with the wax paper resist technique. On to this I stamped the Kaisercraft "Script" stamp and the image in the bottom right corner is from Close to my Heart's "Live Inspired" stamp set.

I stamped the image "Melinda hugging heart" from Whiff of Joy, onto White card and colored her with Copic Markers.

I used foam tape to attach the cut out image to the tag and I attached some ribbon from my stash.

Keep tuned for our next challenge:

A card or layout
2 diff patterns stamped colored inked or PP
With stitches/sewing hand machine or stamped
