Funday Friday Challenge #1

Welcome to my first post as a member of the Design Team for Jo's Scrap Shack

There are a number of new things happening at Jo's.  One of which is the weekly Funday Friday Challenge.

Our challenge this week is to be inspired by this sketch by our talented DT member Amanda.

The challenge will be open until Friday May 31st.

Our sponsor this week is Mary from Cardz TV.
The random winner will receive 2 stamp sets of their choice and the Top 3 will earn a Funday Friday Top 3 Badge.

Winners will be announced Monday June 3rd at Jo's Scrap Shack

All top 3 winners will earn an entry into the monthly drawing which will be announced at the end of June since we are starting mid month.

So pop on over to Jo's Scrap Shack to link your creation via the linky tool.

We all cannot wait to see what you all create with this sketch!

This is my card.

I started with a black cardstock base, the black strip along the middle and the four squares.  All were outlined with metallic blue marker.  I then stamped the squares with a variety of stamps by Michael Strong "Cloisonné Leaves", "Cloisonné Flower", "Cloisonné Pot", and "Cloisonné Vase", using Close to My Heart "Colonial White" and positioned them on an angle along the strip with gold gel pen doodles in the spaces on the strip.

I finished off the card with some bling from my stash.

Have a great week

Note: All times are USA- Texas time which you can find on the World clock bottom right

I thought that was card stock you matted everything with until I read your post about the metallic blue marker! I so love that!! I also love the stamps you used, I really thought it was pattern paper with my first look! Very cool eye catching card! Love your doodling and bling!

What a lovely card. I love how you added so much interest and the metallic marker provides a wonderful frame for your work.
