My image has been coloured with copic markers . My background yellow paper is from my scraps.  The frame around the image was from Stampin Up "Elementary Elegance" set.  The Thank You Square is from Close to My Heart "Cherish the Moment" acrylic set.  The flourishes around the edge are from Making memories "Floral/dingbat" foam stamp set.   Once all stamped I used my airbrush to add the orange.

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #62 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack

This week we follow a sketch.  So get out your thinking caps and get inspired by this weeks sketch.

My image has been coloured with copic markers and spectrum noir markers. My solid background papers are from my scraps. The multicoloured paper is one I made years ago using the shaving cream technique.  I was chatting with Jo earlier in the week and she was asking about the technique when I taught her about 8 years ago and I happened to know exactly where some sample were.  Joann challenged me to use them in this weeks creation.  They fit in beautifully.

The oval die is from Xcut Scalloped dies, the circle from QuickKutz cookie cutter scallops.

My image is from StampArt - it is the "Flora Fairy" bonus image.  It has been coloured with copic markers  and the background was water coloured   I used paper from my stash for the base layer.  This PP was then flipped over for the striped PP.  Both the striped and plain blue papers where cut with the Stampin Up die "Top Note".  My flowers were again from my stash.

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #14 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack.  Our challenge this week is a Photo Inspiration.

What gorgeous colours and textures to choose from.

I have to apologise my card is a little rushed this week.  As you may know I am the carer of my Dad who has dementia.  He has been in hospital for the last couple of weeks so it has been a little crazy between work and going into the hospital to feed him at mealtime.

Our sponsor this week is StampArt Design by Kathryne designed exclusively for Whimsey Stamps.  I chose the beautiful Gracie digital stamp.

I took my inspiration from the blues and greens, the wood and the wings in the inspiration photo.

I printed Gracie onto X-Press It Blender Card and coloured her with Copic Markers. The image was then fussy cut using scissors and a blade.  My PP is from a pad I have had for years in my stash. Crafty Secrets - Heartwarming Vintage Collection - Earthy.  I lightly coloured some of the printed images with Copic Markers The whole panel was then mounted onto a folded piece of Cardstock.
