Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #100 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack

I really can't believe that we have gotten to #100 - it just seems like yesterday that we started the challenges over at Jo's.  For this momentous occasion Jo is having a special giveaway.  So make sure you go and visit for all the details.

Our Sponsors this week are Bugaboo Digi Stamps and  Little Blue Button Stamps whose fabulous digital image "Mix Media - Simply Beautiful" I have used to create my Art Journal page.

My image has been paper pieced with PP from American Crafts . My background was created using Faber Castell Gelatos; stamps from Kaisercraft and Fiscars; texture paste and stencils. The sentiment I had in my stash from an Australian scrapbooking magazine.  I coloured over the sentiment with some glitter pens and blended with my fingers so it was toned closer to the background.

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #82 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack.

Our theme for this week is "Anything Goes" 

Our Sponsor this week is Little Blue Button Stamps - I have used their fabulous digital image "Mix Media Dream".

This week I decided to start on my art/creative journal.  Not putting a lot of pre-thought into it I really had no ideas of where to start or how it would all interact with each other.

I started with gelatos and my watercolours (just some dollar store ones).  I sprayed some stencils with Dylusions and also used white gesso.  You can see how some of the colour has bled through onto the gesso.

I then printed out the beautiful digi 3 times on different patterned papers and paper pieced then together. 

I then chose  chipboard in different fonts that I painted or altered.

I was very happy with the end result.  Looking forward to more journal pages in the future.
