I have used the Bugaboo digital image "Turtles Birthday".

My image has been watercolored with Bienfang Watercolor Brush Pens, and Kuretake Gansai Tambi Water Colours. I used 4 different patterned papers from my scraps. 

Since this birthday card will go to my youngest niece I had to pop a bit of bling and sparkle on there, so using up my stash I found some flowers and jewels.  I know she will love it.

Challenge Rules

I have used their fabulous digital image "Beach M inner tube".

My image has been coloured with copic markers, then I paper pieced it to give some dimension.  My background is one I made using watercolours. The sentiment was one I found in my stash.  I stapled it on to my background. I edged my card base in black copic before adhering the background and then the image.

I'm excited to welcome you to a new year of challenges.

- I have used the fabulous digital image "Nurse Margaret- Hurt A Little" from Bugaboo.

I decided my art journal was feeling a little unloved. So I used a number of acrylic paints applying them with my fingers.  I then went back with my stencils.

I started out colouring the image with acrylics but it wasn't behaving how I wanted so I converted to some simple kids crayons. The sentiment comes with the digi image.

Our theme for this week is " 321 - 3 Colors, 2 Embellishments, 1 Technique"

I have used the Bugaboo fabulous digital image "BUGBUGABOOCAT".

My image has been coloured with copic and finecolour markers and cut using my Scan N Cut machine.  I then used it on a scrapbook layout to prove to Jo that I do still occasionally scrap :D

My layout is of my baby Electra who was given to me in May for my 50th. Look forward to a few more layouts as I have some cute photos of her and her sister Khaleesi who my sister owns.  

The whole papers etc came in a kit from a friend Carol who used to run classes and the such when I lived in the USA.  I am sure she will laugh that I have finished this layout some 10 years later LOL

So the challenge was for 321 - 

3 Colors - Brown Blue and Green

2 Embellishments - Ribbons and flowers

1 Technique - Punching and Die cutting

My image was originally coloured with watercolours.  This created the base layer which was torn out.  I then coloured another digi with copic markers. This was cut out and mounted on top of the base.  My background patterned paper is from my scraps.

My image has been coloured with Finecolour markers and then mounted onto red card.

A friend at a recent crop I attended created a card that inspired my card base, so I borrowed the sun ray die she had used and cut out the die in red white and blue card.  I then put the rays into different embossing folders to give them texture then placed them back inside the white cutout.

My image has been coloured with copic markers .  I made some "snow" using liquid glue and angel dust glitter.

Once I had coloured up the image I was reminded of a Christmas a few years back where we had reindeer antlers on some of our dogs.  So I know this will make Jo faint...

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #87 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack

Our theme for this week is "Anything Goes"

This week I decided to let loose and create something just for myself so I created an inspirational banner. 

My background was created as an experimentation with my gelatos, stencils and masks onto A3 watercolour paper.

I then cut out the letters for my phrase and adhered them with repositional glue.

I then covered the whole page with gesso and then with white paint as the gesso was a little to transparent for what I wanted.

Then I removed the lettering and covered the whole banner with my home made mod podge. I doodled around the edges of the banner and outlined my lettering.  I also used 2 different washi tapes along the top edge.  I used two eyelets at the top which I threaded the lace through for hanging.

I glued diamontes down the sides randomly, adding a large flower and a butterfly from my stash.  I am trying to win a Brother Scan and Cut machine so that is why you can see the tag with #Brotherinspires.

For my project this week I have used "Shari Girl" by Angie Blom from Unity Stamp Company

My image has been coloured with copic markers and layered onto the background. My background paper is from my scraps. Another scrap from the paper is layered onto the top right.  I then extended the rows of dots along the base to make it look more uniform.  The sentiment comes from 3 Twenty Crafts - I stamped it out and cut up the individual words before sticking it down. The words were then all bordered.
