My background yellow paper is from my scraps.  The frame around the image was from Stampin Up "Elementary Elegance" set.  The Thank You Square is from Close to My Heart "Cherish the Moment" acrylic set.  The flourishes around the edge are from Making memories "Floral/dingbat" foam stamp set.   Once all stamped I used my airbrush to add the orange.

This week we follow a sketch.  So get out your thinking caps and get inspired by this weeks sketch.

My image has been coloured with copic markers and spectrum noir markers. My solid background papers are from my scraps. The multicoloured paper is one I made years ago using the shaving cream technique.  I was chatting with Jo earlier in the week and she was asking about the technique when I taught her about 8 years ago and I happened to know exactly where some sample were.  Joann challenged me to use them in this weeks creation.  They fit in beautifully.

The oval die is from Xcut Scalloped dies, the circle from QuickKutz cookie cutter scallops.

Glad to be back in blogland with another Funday Friday Challenge #61 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack

Our theme for this week is "Happy Fall"

My image has been coloured with copic markers and die cut using Nellie's Multi Frames - "MFD 010".

My background paper I created using Ranger Alcohol Inks in "Butterscotch, Cranberry, Terracotta, Stream and Gold" using an applicator onto glossy photo paper with blending solution.  This background was attached to a card base.

Part of my doiley cut from Kaisercraft Decrative dies -"doilies" die was attached to my background. To this I added liquid pearls, and the word Hi came from my alpha letters stash.

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #57 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack

Our theme for this week is "July 4th" 

This weeks sponsor is The Paper Nest however they didn't have a digi stamp available to fit this theme so I did an internet search and found this cute image on Pinterest  from Dearie Dolls Digi Stamps.

My image makes me very sentimental.  As an Australian who spent some years in the USA it reminds me how much of my heart was left behind there.  The July 4th holiday was always one I loved.  The community getting together, the parade, fireworks, and fun.

My image has been coloured with copic markers. I watched a great little video online this week at MarkerPop on easy backgrounds to give images a little more pop or dimension - thus giving me the idea for my grass.  

I loved the simplicity of the image and so just wanted to leave it plain on the card cutting it just short of the card front dimensions so I could simply edge with a copic.

My image has been coloured with copic markers . I then went to look for some background papers and I found this piece in my scraps with the window already cut out. It fit over the image perfectly.  I would have coloured it a long time ago but I can tell you that it is coloured with alcohol inks onto photo or glossy paper.  I finished it off with a ribbon from my stash.

I can hardly believe that it is the one year anniversary of  the Funday Friday Challenges.  

Our theme for this week of course is HB2U - so create a project for a Happy Birthday

I used papers from my stash.  I cut strips for my ruffles sprayed water on the back so they were easier to manipulate. I then waited for them to dry so that the tape would stick. Of course I was trying when they were still damp LOL.  So I arranged the three ruffles on top of one another then found a piece of ribbon in my stash to cover the top.  

This was my first attempt at paper ruffles so I think I might go down this road again.

My image is from StampArt - it is the "Flora Fairy" bonus image.  It has been coloured with copic markers  and the background was water coloured   I used paper from my stash for the base layer.  This PP was then flipped over for the striped PP.  Both the striped and plain blue papers where cut with the Stampin Up die "Top Note".  My flowers were again from my stash.

I used the fabulous digital image Clyde Made with Love.

My image has been coloured with copic markers .  I then used watercolours to fill in my background.  I have just recently started to use this medium - not bad for the beginnings of something new.  I used a piece of scrap I had from a previous project for the card front. Both the card front and the image were die cut with a QuicKuts nesting scallops die.  I just put the card front through halfway in my Cuttlebug.
