What gorgeous colours and textures to choose from.
I hope you join in with us this week - Come on get creative.
I have to apologise my card is a little rushed this week. As you may know I am the carer of my Dad who has dementia. He has been in hospital for the last couple of weeks so it has been a little crazy between work and going into the hospital to feed him at mealtime.
Our sponsor this week is StampArt Design by Kathryne designed exclusively for Whimsey Stamps. I chose the beautiful Gracie digital stamp.
I took my inspiration from the blues and greens, the wood and the wings in the inspiration photo.
I took my inspiration from the blues and greens, the wood and the wings in the inspiration photo.
I printed Gracie onto X-Press It Blender Card and coloured her with Copic Markers. The image was then fussy cut using scissors and a blade. My PP is from a pad I have had for years in my stash. Crafty Secrets - Heartwarming Vintage Collection - Earthy. I lightly coloured some of the printed images with Copic Markers The whole panel was then mounted onto a folded piece of Cardstock.

Awww your card is adorable Kellie! I love this digi image and almost picked this one myself. lol You did an amazing job of coloring in your little girl! I hope all things are going well with caring for your dad. I love that you are doing this for him!! Hugs my friend!

Kellie you have your plate full. I'm amazed you actually had time to create such a perfect & lovely card. I liked your fussy cutting & then mounting on the dp. Thanks, too - for an earlier tip about printing the digi-s on Xpress. Fortunately, my Epson printer will handle the Xpress..which is my favorite paper to use for copics. Coloring is like spreading butter! So easy to do & shade. Hope things will improve for you on a personal level..this is such a hard problem to deal with. Take care, many hugs, and thanks for your encouragement. Hope to learn more as I go along! TFS

Your card is very lovely, Kellie. I love your layout with the 3-D effect. It's very pretty. Little Gracie looks very pretty with the blue tones. Thank you for your inspiration especially with the schedule you have. You are a blessing for your Dad. I'm delighted to sponsor your challenge. xx Kathryne

Great job! I always look at the hair on images colored with Copics. Gracie's hair is just perfect! I love seeing the different projects people come up with when they all started with the same inspiration piece. TFS!
