Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #79 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack

Our theme for this week is "Lucky Clover"

Our Sponsor this week is Limited Runs I have used their fabulous digital image "4 Leaf Clover Cupcake".

My image has been coloured with copic markers. Using my cuttlebug I then diecut out the 2 circles using a no name die set.  The larger circle was covered in washi tape.  The layer under the image - diecut with Kaisercraft doiley die.  The bottom layer - cut with QuicKutz Scalloped Round.

My background was created with 3 different washi tapes laid in different directions. The sentiment comes from 3 Twenty Crafts.  The edging was diecut with the Sizzix Edgelits - Finishing Touches die created for Stampin Up.

I hope you join in with us - Come on get creative.

I'm excited to see what you create!

I plan to enter the following challenges:-

Through the Craft Room Door Challenge  - Anything Goes

Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything Goes

Have a great week

Spring Inspired

This weeks challenge with Joann @ Jo's Scrap Shack is to be inspired by Spring and to use a diecut.

The PP, CS, ribbon and button and bling used in this layout were from a challenge pack on last weekends crop that I attended.

For my first photo I attached the PP to the back of the cardstock I then drew a circle and dissected it north to south, east to west, north west to south east and north east to south west. I then turned over the CS to the front and folded back the cut sections and adhered a gem to each petal. I made a frame from the PP for my second photo.

With the green CS I cut out swirls from Sizzix Sizzlits Nesting Swirls Die Set and placed them around the base of the page with some frangipanis which I attached with mini brads with the gems attached. I then tied a bow with ribbon from the challenge pack and attached to the second photo. I then punched two butterflies from the scraps of the PP and attached them together along the body to create some depth I attached them to the letter F in my title with some green antennae. I finished off my layout using a button for the top of the letter i.

This weeks challenge with Joann @ Jo's Scrap Shack is to use a window on a card with embossing and a ribbon.

I decided to dust off my Klic N Kut machine to cut the window in my card. I found a wonderful free file "Gothic Window 4" amongst many wonderful free files in a variety of file types over at Monica's Creative Room. I know I am going to go back there for more files. So intricate and they cut beautifully. I cut the whole window on black card stock and the center of the window out of my card base.

I then embossed the front of the card in my cuttlebug with my Sizzix for Stampin Up "Textured Impressions Square Lattice folder. I lined the windows up without adhering and I placed the negative of the black cardstock over the top to mask off the area. Removing my gothic window I then sponged the area with yellow and orange ink so it becomes the stained glass around the edge once the window is adhered which I did next after spraying the back with adhesive. I edged the front with a copic maker.

Next I cut a piece of plastic large enough to adhere across the window opening. I then stamped my image from Close To My Heart - "Angelic Blessings" Set on to the plastic and coloured the opposite side with copic markers. After adhering it behind the window opening I placed an insert into the card and tied my purple organza ribbon along the fold. Thanks for stopping by.

I look forward to seeing you next week for our next challenge to use stamps and stencils.
