Our theme for this week is "Use a tool you've been Neglecting"
Our Sponsor this week is Fitztown- I have used their digital image "SNP9" from the Stardust and Pumpkin line.
My image has been coloured with copic markers. I didn't like the way my colouring appeared on the purple outer heart so I altered it using a mask with gelatos and dots using my white pen. I used Stickles on the fairy wings.
The initial neglected tool I used didn't perform the way I had hoped it was a paper crimper of hearts and squiggles - so it found its way into the garbage. My second choice was my regular crimper which I used on pink CS running over the raised areas with my gelato.
I then used a Sizzix Tim Holtz - Strip Die - Tattered Flower Garland to cut my flowers out from scraps. I doodled around the edges of the flowers before combining them and securing with a pink brad. I wrote the sentiment by hand. The whole card front was then sprayed with silver glitter dust.
I hope you join in with us - Come on get creative.
I'm excited to see what you create!
I plan to enter the following challenges:-

Kellie,
Really love your card this week. That is such a cute image from Fitztown and you have colored it so beautifully! I really love that you used a crimper to create your very own corrugated paper! Love the look so much! Your hearts have so much texture and detail, good job! I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Hugs,
Jo
