Today we are showing you the new and awesome stamp set
“Say it from the Heart”
“Say it from the Heart”
There is so much you can do with this stamp set that I had to just start playing. I love the hexagon shapes. I decided to try embossing my card with the Stampin Up Honeycomb folder. I then used it as a template for my creations.
First I used the solid hexagon shape to 'colour' the hexagons with Close To My Heart 'Watermelon' and 'Grey Flannel' inks I then rubbed the grey over the raised areas. This ended up being very grundgy.
The next one I trialled I rubbed my embossing folder with my ink on the raised side - this transferred the ink to the card so this is the back or debossed side. I then stamped the swirly pattern (without the hexagon border) - if you look closely it has a hexagon shape so fits perfectly within the hexagon. I love how this one turned out.
The next background I embossed the card again this time working on the embossed side. I traced around each hexagon shape with Spectrum Noir Marker BP2. Then like my grundgy one I stamped using the solid hexagon. This time I left some white space and also stamped the swirly pattern.
My last background again is on the embossed side of the card. I alternated the swirly pattern with and without the hexagon border - it is like the pattern and the negative. I love both these stamps and so I think this was the favourite of my backgrounds,
I then experimented with my brayer to change my white card to match my backgrounds I then stamped out one of the sentiments onto the newly created coloured card and inked the edges of the card and the sentiments. I then added different trims.
This one is my absolute favourite the shine of those little daisies just does not show up on the photo. Totally blingy :D
This last one the ribbon colour is actually pink - it hasn't photographed the best.
So many different looks and there are many more stamps in there to play with.

WOW! You had quite a collection of cards using this stamp set. I'm really impressed with the different ways you used the EF to highlight the hexagon stamp...then changing it up so much with the jazzy colors. Fantastic, and I really loved your cards. Way to go! TFS & Hugs
