Our challenge this week is a Photo Inspiration.
Use the photo below for your creation. Your Next Stamp is our sponsor this week so if you have their stamps, we would love to see you use them, though it is not a requirement. One lucky winner will receive a set of YNS Stamps.
I found my owl colouring page online at Dover Publications after a search online. Looking at the inspiration photo I found similar copic markers and just took to the colouring of the owl and background. It really started to look a little 60's psychedelic. I paper pieced the trunk of the tree using a scrap I had.

Kellie, thanks for your sweet comments to help celebrate our special Day. And for leaving a comment on the 12th...wasn't sure of your time zone, so you were included in the RG. Your card is really a WOWer! You nailed those inspiration colors perfectly with such a good image. It is very '60-s' in the feel of it. So bright & cheery, it's bound to perk up whomever receives it. Loved your hot pink, big-eyes owl. Hoot, Hoot! When I ever get caught up again, I hope to get back to JSS with some cards. TFS
