For my card I used a white cardstock base that I edged with my black copic marker mimicking a black mat around my patterend paper. My patterned paper is from a notepad I purchased years ago at a dollar store.
I tore the top piece with the butterfly off on a diagonal and added it over the piece that I had for the base.
My image is from Whimsy Stamps called "Hang In There". I coloured my critter using copics and Spectrum Noir markers. I have to say so far I prefer the way copics blend when compared to the Specrum Noirs. I cut my image with his feet extending outside the die and the black mat using Nellie Snellden dies "MFD 010"
My sentiment is stamped using Memento - Tuxedo Black ink with an alphabet picked up at a garage sale. The alphabet click together to create each word.
I hope you join in with us - Come on get creative.

This card is adorable Kellie! I love that cute little turtle!! I also love the way you have used your black Copic to make a mat around the card base, I would have never known that if you wouldn't have said, it looks like it is black paper! Hugs!
